This symphonic prog rock album features Peter Hammill (Van Der Graaf Generator) on vocals, alongside a host of musicians including Paul Weller, Ray Fenwick, Brian Hopper and many others, with the 50 piece Chesterfield Philharmonic Choir and a twenty five piece orchestral string section.

Record cover art work for “Neolopolis” by Xennon - a vocal synthwave artist from the UK, now based in Tokyo, Japan. The music is described as a homage to 80’s prog. The art embraces high-concept and surrealist styles resonant with 80’sprog rock vinyl sleeves. The use of checked tiles and cool colour palettes establishes spacial depth and evokes cinematic grandeur and classic sci-fi.

Record cover art work for “THE upsweep” by DF Tram & Canopy of Stars. The music producer DF Tram is renowned for psychedelic fusions of ambient electronic and chillout music. ‘Canopy of Stars’ is Christian Wheeldon’s ambient music project. The art work mirrors the moody, surreal, meditative atmosphere of the music. A central glowing nebula, radiating neon pinks and orange, contrasts with deep blues, purple and cosmic black to produce a dreamy image that accords with the album’s sweeping soundscapes.

Record cover art work for “Maelstrom” by Geoff Lawson, a Northumberland based singer-songwriter. The art work depicts a record half buried in sand, where the record grooves represent the swirling motion of a whirlpool or Maelstrom. Tiny people circle round the record, adding to the dramatic effect. The art work was created from a photo of a record placed in the sand at Alnmouth beach, and edited to emphasize the swirling shadows and add the tiny people.

This image was developed from a photo taken at Alnmouth beach one evening, of the tide making ripples in the sand. Changing the proportions (tiny person and huge flotsam) adds interest and contributes to a pleasing composition with the soft sky and long shadows.
